Vitor is from Brasilia, Brazil. He started playing tennis at the age of 11, which is considered late if one wants to play competitive Junior tennis. However, he quickly got the hang of it, and with discipline and hard work he was able to become a top 5 player in the country at the age of 16. At the age of 17, Vitor won back to back National Championships Under 18 and started his professional career on the ATP tour.
Vitor had the opportunity to play against players who today are among the best in the world, such as American Jared Donaldson (former # 48 in the world), Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka (currently # 48 in the world), Colombian Juan Sebastian Cabal (former #1 in the world doubles, currently ranked #2, and two time Grand Slam champion), just to name a few.

Tom’s passion for coaching pickleball stems from his desire to help people achieve their goals. His diverse sports background helps him adapt to various strengths presented by players, maximizing their unique talents on the pickleball court. While enjoying a lifelong casual relationship with tennis, Tom played competitive Ice Hockey, became a collegiate national champion skydiver, and earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and completed 2 marathons and an Olympic distance Triathlon. After his introduction to pickleball, Tom immersed himself in the study of the game as a player, ref and coach. Tom’s favorite aspect of pickleball is the accessibility of the sport. All newcomers can begin enjoying the game on day one, and the journey to mastery can take a lifetime if desired. Tom loves to see players enjoy the journey as they strive to improve their skills. As a certified PPR coach, Tom incorporates tried and true methods with individualized approaches to maximize results without losing the fun inherent in Pickleball
